Sesa Goa Iron Ore, a Vedanta Group company is engaged in exploration, mining and processing of iron ore. The company was founded in 1954, as Scambi Economici SA Goa. Since then, it has grown to be one among the top low-cost producers of iron ore in the country. During 1991-1995, it diversified into the manufacture of pig iron and metallurgical coke. It has also developed indigenous and environment-friendly technology for producing high quality metallurgical coke. Sesa Goa Iron Ore also has a 60 MW power plant that produces clean power by using the waste heat recovery from its coke ovens and blast furnace gas.
In 2007, it became a majority-owned subsidiary of Vedanta Resources Plc., when Vedanta acquired 51% controlling stake from Mitsui & Co., Ltd. In June 2009, Sesa acquired VS Dempo & Co. Private Limited (now Sesa Resources Limited) along with its fully owned subsidiary Dempo Mining Corporation (now Sesa Mining Corporation Limited) and 50% equity in Goa Maritime Private Limited

ROLE SUMMARY
Leadership opportunity to Head Finance function and act as a strategic advisor in all key business decisions. Focus on growth aspects, ensure delivery of business goals, shareholder value generation, manage business risk, focus on technology, digitisation, drive highest order of governance, ethics and compliance and ensure leadership pipeline and grooming.

- Provide Leadership in designing and executing business strategies to ensure delivery of all business goals as per set targets
- Play a critical role in generating free cash flow, gross working capital, revenue
- Ensure right marketing and pricing strategy for margin protection
- Ensure Return on investments for all strategic projects and assets
- Drive key policy advocacy matters and ensure shareholder value generation
- Ensure leadership pipeline development and grooming
- Responsible for driving highest order of governance, ethics, compliance & transparent reporting and managing business risk</

- CTC 25 - 40 lacs
- 10 - 15 years Experience in Finance
