ROLE SUMMARY
The Lead and responsible for the project planning and monitoring of construction progress. Ensure the implementation phase of Solar PV/ Wind power plant and acts as the key coordinator between Owners' Engineer, EPC Contractors and Project Site execution teams. Will be responsible for the overall project planning, scheduling, escalating the critical issues, inter-department coordination, timely reporting of site progress and review of EPC contractor's performance. Must have hands-on on Project management tools MS-Projects and Primavera P6 applications.
Technical Skills:
- Coordinate with the Procurement organization to allocate module/inverter technology to forecasted projects and provide bills of materials to facilitate the ordering of long lead time component
- Improve processes and continue efforts towards achieving standardization while maintaining necessary specifications; utilize feedback loops and lessons learned to improve the delivery of projects.
- Oversee maintenance of project design data in a centralized project database. The data supports both project scheduling and material procurement within the broader organization.
- Develop and manage departmental operating budget established on an annual basis. Responsible for identifying reasons for cost variances, either positive or negative and taking action to either mitigate or support.
- Hands-on on Primavera P6 and MS Project application to prepare project schedules and dashboards
- Daily Progress Reporting formats, MIS, and Presentation to management.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of the project schedule, plan, data for proposals/contracts and Project Execution.
- Determines schedule dates for work activities within a discipline area or speciality. Determines milestones to support the project schedule.
- Establishes work sequence and activity durations for a specific discipline or speciality. Determinesinter-discipline constraints or interfaces that define activity sequences.
- Works with performing organizations and units to coordinate work sequences with the total project plan.
- Develops KPI’s, and S curves for a specific discipline or speciality.
- Performs quantity and manpower resource loading for assigned schedules.
- Assists discipline groups in determining what information is required from other disciplines to support and interface with the assigned discipline or speciality. Provides schedule knowledge on a continuous basis to assist in discipline planning and interfacing with others.
- Performs schedule monitoring, including identifying critical activities and updating functions for specific applications, disciplines, or specialities. Assists in developing and implementing requirements for updating and monitoring the schedule.
- Assists with schedule recovery plans
- Prepares and Present Progress Reports, Exception Reports, Dashboards etc.
- System & Component Failure Investigations / Root Cause Analysis.
- To provide an up-to-date daily status report of the site. Day-to-day management and execution of site, monitoring the workers and the work of contractors.
- Coordination with vendors. Keeping a record of Material and manpower.
- Comfortable in travelling, required to travel & stay at various Work Locations.

Requirements And Qualification:
- Location Mumbai
- Ctc 18 - 23 lacs
- B.E/ B.Tech (Electrical/Civil) + PG in Project Management, PMP certification would be prefered
- 8 to 10 Years Experience in project planning and monitoring of construction progress and implementation of Solar PV/ Wind power plant
- Experience in Project management tools MS-Projects and Primavera P6 applications.
